Objective Mechanical Endurance Test of MCCB is conducted to check the correctness of its mechanical parts i.e. operating mechanism using Rotary cylinder(3 station). In this test, MCCB is operated several times and checked for any damage of its mechanical parts / contacts. The MCCB should be in a position to open and close satisfactorily with specified cycles as per Claim.

Objective High Voltage testing is performed to qualify the ACB to operate safely during rated electrical conditions, a way to check the effectiveness of its insulation. The high voltage testing will determine the type and amount of voltage applied and the acceptable current flow.
Milli-volt drop test is performed in order to determine the voltage drops within the current path of the breaking mechanism.
